My Z has been in hibernation since early December, so I thought I would go start the car and let it run for a while. I was in the car replacing my dome light bulb when I realized there was a strong fuel smell. I jumped out of the car to find fuel pretty much gushing out of the return line near the fuel filter. It was everywhere. It's been really cold here in Indiana, so that's obviously the culprit. The fuel hose was new last year, as was the clamp. I even tightened down all accessible fuel hose clamps the night before (including the leaky one) in an attempt to prevent this exact scenario. Perhaps I over-tightened that one. Anyway, it's taking a while for the fuel smell to go away, even though it's pretty much all evaporated already. I'm lucky nothing ignited.
